It is an exciting time for Marla Sokoloff and her family as she recently revealed that she is expecting her second child!
The actress, who is known for her roles on Full House, The Practice, and most recently The Fosters, revealed to People exclusively that she and her husband Alec Puro were going to have another baby.
The couple, who tied the knot in Beverly Hills in November 2009, welcomed their first daughter Elliotte in February 2012 and said that they can’t wait to see how she adjusts to being a big sister.
“Alec and I are beyond excited to be adding to our family and can’t wait for Elliotte to be the best big sister ever (no pressure!),” Marla told People.
Sokoloff also confirmed the second pregnancy on her personal Instagram account by posting a photo of her and Elliotte along with her growing baby bump.
Marla and Alec have always wanted another child, but were waiting for the right time before adding to their family. They contemplated getting pregnant after Elliotte’s first birthday, but decided to let another year pass first.
“Obviously Alec and I want to have another child and talk about adding to our family all of the time, I just think I maybe need another birthday to pass before we start the real-deal discussion,” Marla wrote on her celebrity blog in 2013.
