Singer, song-writer, actress and all around diva. Is there anything Mariah Carey can’t do?
Before you answer that question, you can add ski coach to her resume, as the legendary singer and her husband Nick Cannon taught their twins how to go down the slopes in Aspen recently.
Moroccan and Monroe Cannon were born on April 30, 2011, but it already seems they’re able to handle a pair of skis pretty well. One adorable photo shows Nick with his hands open ready to greet Moroccan, as he goes down what looks to be a bunny slope–while Carey does the same for her daughter Monroe.
And a third photo shows the family looking quite happy, as they stand in fluffy white snow in front of a traditional styled log cabin. You’ll notice in the photo that Carey looks more like a regular mom than she does an international superstar, which makes the image look even more charming.
It’s been almost six years since Nick and Carey got hitched, which seemed to come out of the clear blue sky and shocked many people. Plus, a lot of folks simply believed that Carey and Nick weren’t on the same level of celebrity, and they somehow used that logic to believe their marriage just couldn’t be true.
But obviously it was true, and since then, the two have been seen in public looking quite blissful, and they’ve developed a fan base that surrounds their relationship, not just their respective careers. “So cute,” one fan writes about one of the Aspen photos. “Beautiful family,” another says, which shows that people are seemingly eager to see what photos the famous couple will post next.
Right now, Carey is putting the finishing touches on her 14th studio album “The Art of Letting Go,” which is rumored to be released later this year. You’ve might have already heard the first single “Beautiful,” featuring R&B crooner Miguel, which has already received international airplay and acclaim.
