Maria Bartiromo will launch a new business show on Fox News Channel on March 30.
Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo will air at 10:00 am ET as part of the network’s Sunday morning lineup.
Bartiromo is well known for her work as a business journalist and Fox is playing up her reputation and experience. In an announcement on their website, the network said the new show will bring “the veteran business reporter’s perspective and analysis to the week’s economic developments.”
“Maria’s renowned expertise covering financial markets, job forecasts and the economy has helped define her as one of the finest business journalists in the industry and I am confident she will bring even greater value to FOX News Channel’s weekend programming,” said Michael Clemente, Fox’s Executive Vice President of News.

The new show will feature in-depth interviews with key players in the business world. The network is promoting it to viewers who want to prepare financially for the future.
“There was a moment in time when it was really all about the stock market, and I know, because I was there,” Bartiromo has said about the focus of her work at Fox. “I think today viewers want something very different … They want the international story, the emerging markets. They want to know about jobs. They want to know more and expect more and deeper perspective. That really is my opportunity.”
Bartiromo came to Fox in November 2013, after 20 years at CNBC. She had nothing but good to say about her time at CNBC:
“After twenty great years of having a front row seat to some of the most important economic stories in the world, it’s hard to sum up the gratitude and appreciation I have for the team that helped make it happen. I am incredibly proud of what we have been able to accomplish. I want to thank all the people at CNBC who have been with me on this journey, and of course the viewers and investors everywhere for making me love every minute of it.”
Bartiromo serves as Global Markets Editor of Fox Business Network and hosts Opening Bell with Maria Bartiromo. The latter inevitably brings to mind CNBC’s long running Closing Bell, which Bartiromo anchored from its inception in 2002 until she left the network in 2013.
When she’s not talking about business news, Bartiromo is writing about it. At one point, she wrote a monthly column for USA Today and has published three books: The 10 Laws of Enduring Success, Use the News: How to Separate the Noise from the Investment Nuggets and Make Money in Any Economy, and The Weekend That Changed Wall Street.
