  • Maika Monroe appears to be the new woman in Liam Hemsworth’s life. The two have been spotted numerous times recently, and are also co-stars in the upcoming Independence Day: Resurgence–set to hit theaters in 2016. Does this mean he has finally replaced Miley Cyrus?

Most recently Liam Hemsworth and Maika Monroe were seen sharing a hefty dose of PDA at a party on the 4th of July.

“His hand was on her butt as she was grinding into him and they were making out at the bar,” a source who attended the party, which included guests such as Vivica A. Fox, Bill Pullman, and Lance Bass, said. “Liam was draped all over her. It was so PDA and in-your-face!”

Apparently there’s still nothing official between Monroe and Hemsworth, however.

“They’re not official,” the source adds. “But their chemistry is ridiculous!”

In addition to the upcoming Independence Day: Resurgence, Miaka Monroe starred in the horror flick It Follows. Liam Hemsworth has starred in several films, but is probably best known for his role in the Hunger Games series of movies.

Liam’s ex, Miley Cyrus, seems to have a new love interest, too. She was spotted on the set of her new music video passionately kissing Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell.

“I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age,” Cyrus told Paper magazine in June of her romantic interests. “Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult–anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me.”

Do you think Maika Monroe is “down” for loving Liam Hemsworth? Or is this nothing more than a co-star fling?
