Maci Bookout and Farrah Abraham may not be the best of friends–but the Teen Mom OG stars do have one big thing in common. They each hoped for an engagement ring from their significant other prior to the end of this season of the show.

Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney seemingly have it all–at least in the Teen Mom realm–but they’re still not married. Maci wants desperately to seal the deal with an engagement and wedding in the near future.

Even her ex, Ryan Edwards, thinks the two should tie the knot.

“She’s in a really serious relationship with the guy that she’s having a baby with,” Ryan told his friend. “His name’s Taylor, and he’s a great dude. Couldn’t ask for better with that. Gotta put up with her until Bentley’s at least 18, but really for the rest of my life. So I really hope they seal the deal because he’s a really good dude.”

Nevertheless, Taylor McKinney and Maci Bookout didn’t get engaged during the season finale of Teen Mom OG.

Farrah Abraham–once a porn star–is a real contradiction when it comes to her daughter and boyfriend Simon Saran. She doesn’t want Sophia living in a household with Farrah and Simon unmarried. (it was okay to star in pornographic films, dance on a pole and tout sex toys, however.)

Farrah went so far as to push really hard to warm Simon up to Sophia–and vice versa. Neither seemed thrilled with the notion. Ultimately she wound up without an engagement ring, too.

Maci Bookout and Farrah Abraham likely cringe at the thought of being categorized together–but at least for part of this season of Teen Mom OG–they were.

Perhaps next season one or both of these young moms will get the ring they’re so desperately hoping for?

For now, however, Maci Bookout and Farrah Abraham remain single ladies.
