Liv Tyler revealed the name of her newborn son on Instagram Friday.
She posted an adorable pic of the baby’s hand holding an anchor necklace with the caption, “Sailor Gene Gardner”.
Liv Tyler gave birth to Sailor six weeks early on February 11th.
Liv Tyler’s rep told Popsugar after Sailor’s surprise arrival, “He was born on Feb. 11. He is very early — six weeks — but healthy, and will be in hospital for a while.”
Her rep added, “She would like privacy until she can bring him home.”
This is the first child with her boyfriend, sports agent David Gardner, who has a 7-year-old son, Grey, from a previous marriage. This is also the second for Liv Tyler. She has a son, Milo, 10, with her ex-husband, Royston Langdon.
Because of Sailor’s quick arrival, Liv Tyler’s dad, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, just barely made it to the hospital before he was born.
Liv Tyler has kept a pretty low profile since Sailor’s birth, besides the constant visits to the hospital.
