Lisa Bonet‘s name was in the news over the past 24 hours because of tweets that seemingly suggested the former The Cosby Show actress was condemning her television dad, Bill Cosby, on sexual misconduct allegations that have made headlines of late. However, her manager vehemently insists the tweets did not come from Bonet.
“I can assure you that is not her Twitter account and I have had the account suspended,” talent manager Jillian Neal told TheWrap Sunday.
The reports surround an unverified Twitter account, onto which was posted a cryptic message that included the words, “Nothing stays in the dark 4ever!”
Bonet, 47, played Cosby’s daughter, Denise Huxtable, on the hit NBC series The Cosby Show. Neal said the actress ”continues to have no comment on the subject” of alleged sexual misconduct by Cosby.

The number of women who have come forward to accuse the 77-year-old TV legend of sexual misconduct, which include accusations of rape, has grown to 16.
Despite the controversy, Cosby still has fans rooting for and supporting him.
He received two standing ovations during a sold-out performance on Friday night in Melbourne, Florida.

Cosby didn’t mention the controversy during his performance, but he briefly broke his silence with reporters after the show.
“I know people are tired of me not saying anything, but a guy doesn’t have to answer to innuendos,” Cosby said. “People should fact check. People shouldn’t have to go through that and shouldn’t answer to innuendos.”
