Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods were once known as one of the sporting world’s power couples. After three years together, however, the two split up. In a recent interview with CNN, Vonn reflects on their time together, and admits she still loves the golfer.

“I mean I loved him and I still love him,” she says.

“I had an amazing three years with him,” Lindsey Vonn admits. “Sometimes things just don’t work out and unfortunately it didn’t work out for us”

Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods met at a charity event in 2012. They went public with their relationship several months later via social media, in March of 2013.

Tiger Woods’ marriage to Elin Nordegren, with whom he shares two children, ended in 2010 following the revelation that Tiger had cheated on him with more women than she could count, and admitted to a purported sex addiction.

Lindsey Vonn is focusing on herself right now and has no plans for seeking a new relationship.

“I’m enjoying just kind of focusing on myself right now,” she says. “I’ve realized that I only have three, maybe more, but realistically three good years of racing left.

“So it’s kind of nice to just focus on that and focus on my career. But I don’t know, you never know what’s going to happen,” she adds.

Lindsey Vonn says both she and Tiger Woods are in good places.

“But I don’t have any regrets and I think we’re both in a pretty good place,” she adds.

When Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn split, there were rumors running rampant about him reverting to his old ways–a la his Elin Nordegren days. It’s uncertain if those rumors were even proven or refuted.
