It looks like Lindsay Lohan is jumping on the bandwagon with a bunch of other celebrities who are ready to clean up their acts and start fresh. Lindsay recently made an appearance at the Sundance Film Festival and announced that she would be producing and starring in a film called Inconceivable.
Lindsay has had a very public battle with drugs and alcohol and has been arrested numerous times. The actress now appears to be doing much better and is ready to make her comeback in the film industry.
“I’ve never had the honor of coming here before … to bring something to the table, which is starting fresh for me,” said Lohan at the festival on Monday. “And I’m filming my Oprah docu-series right now, so I get to that to the people who have been watching that as well.
“It’s a nice change to be back among people that are in the industry that I’ve been in since I was a kid.”
Lindsay is currently being followed by a crew from Oprah’s network that is filming a documentary about her. The crew was present and filming during her appearance at the Sundance Film Festival.
Lindsay was happy to share some information about Inconceivable and called it a psychological thriller. She also admitted to feeling like she had a lot in common with the star of the film and the character she will play.
Filming for Inconceivable will start in March. This will be the first film that Lindsay has produced and she seemed excited to dive into it.
“It’s therapeutic for me to throw myself into something that really excites me and something that I love to do so much,” she said. “There’s nothing better than having seen all of your ideas and thoughts that you’ve been thinking about to come to fruition and to share that with people. I think that’s why I’ve always loved making movies so much. So it’s nice to be able to have another position in the film rather than just showing up and being on the set.”
Do you think Lindsay’s new film is a sign that she is ready to get back to her old self again or will she be in more legal trouble before the filming ends?
