It’s a Lindsay Lohan kind of week.
The never shy-away from controversy actress made several headlines this week, and not for something scandalous. Instead people are talking about her upcoming TV appearances.
Lohan will make a guest appearance on CBS’s hit television series 2 Broke Girls. The series follows Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) as they try to navigate through life, and make enough money to start and keep a successful cupcake business. To gain more money for their business, sometimes the pair take-on odd jobs, while they continue to maintain employment as diner waitresses.
In 2 Broke Girls, Lohan plays a character named Claire Guinness, an indecisive bride-to-be. Claire enlists Max and Caroline to make her wedding cake. The episode airs on April 14, which is the first time the series moves to its 8:00 pm EST time slot. 2 Broke Girls will take over this time slot from How I Met Your Mother, which series finale airs on March 31.

News of Lohan’s casting comes only days after a trailer was released for her upcoming OWN docuseries called Lindsay. Lohan’s appearance on 2 Broke Girls is part of her promotional campaign for the series’ eight episodes.
Lindsay follows Lohan’s recovery from several personal crises, including her stint in rehab and dysfunctional relationship with her parents. OWN describes the series as an “honest, no-holds-barred account. It’s an “intimate, unflinching look into the life of one of the world’s most sought-after celebrities.” OWN network owner Oprah Winfrey produces the series. After getting very frustrated with Lohan for creating problems for the crew, on Lindsay’s trailer Winfrey is seen telling the young starlet to “cut the bullshit.”
Lindsay premieres on OWN on March 9 at 10:00 pm EST.
