Lindsay Lohan Announces New Film At Sundance

As most people know, Lindsay Lohan has been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons a number of times in recent years. She has been in and out of rehab since her time as a child star, and is attempting to make a comeback.

She recently made her first appearance at the Sundance Film Festival, and while most people that are there come to present their new films, Lohan wanted to get attention and simply announce a new film of hers that is being made.

Randall Emmett, a producer and financier of the film, sat beside Lindsay Lohan at the festival to announce the film and felt that it was a special place to do so.

Lindsay Lohan will serve as a producer of the film as well as the star, although a director and co-stars have yet to be added to the production. She said that she has approached Juliette Lewis already, and adding Jessica Lange to the cast would be a dream of hers.

Her new film is called Inconceivable, and it is expected to begin shooting in March. The film is described as a psychological thriller about a woman trying to reclaim something she lost. She most recently appeared in the film The Canyons, as well as serving as a co-producer.

She is clearly excited to be behind the camera and put her own ideas into a project. During her announcement she said “There’s nothing better than having seen all of your ideas and thoughts that you’ve been thinking about to come to fruition and to share that with people. I think that’s why I’ve always loved making movies so much. So it’s nice to be able to have another position in the film rather than just showing up and being on the set.”

Lindsay Lohan’s actions were all documented by a crew from the OWN network, which is currently airing a reality series about her. Reporters were told not to ask personal questions, although people are curious to know what she has been up to.

The 27-year-old actress had her latest stint in rehab last year, and she is still on probation for a necklace theft and lying to the police about a car crash.

Lindsay Lohan said that she was grateful to be at Sundance, and is excited to be back in the movie business that she has been a part of since a kid. She will also be a part of the process of selecting a director, which may come as soon as next week. The film will be released by Lionsgate.
