Lil Wayne reportedly wasn’t home when a shooting allegedly took place at his La Gorce Island residence earlier on Wednesday. A caller told Miami Beach Police he had shot four people inside the home. La Gorce Island is is small island located just off Miami Beach.

A perimeter had reportedly been set up around the home owned by Lil Wayne, but no report had emerged after the report about any of the purported shooting victims.

Lil Wayne has long feuded with his record label–Young Money–but they confirmed earlier on Wednesday that he wasn’t at his island residence when the alleged shooting took place.

Last Saturday police were called to Lil Wayne’s home. Neighbors reported someone lurking outside. That person wasn’t arrested because he or she was found on public property when police arrived.

In a later report on Wednesday, it was determined that the entire Lil Wayne shooting scenario was nothing but a hoax. The police determined there had been no shots fired. There was no gunman and there were no victims.

Lil Wayne owns the island home that features eight bedrooms and 10-bathrooms. It was most recently assessed at $9.4 million.
