  • Leona Lewis’s biggest hit to date is “Bleeding Love,” and fans still swoon when she performs it even eight years after its debut.

This weekend, fans of both Leona Lewis and Taylor Swift were treated to a mind-blowing version of the song when Swift brought Lewis out onto her stage during her concert in Nashville.

It was Saturday night during one of Swift’s “1989” concert dates that she introduced the British singer who feared she’d never get signed again when she left Simon Cowell’s record label.

“It was very hard and very nerve-racking because I didn’t know what I’d be walking into once I left Simon. I had no idea,” Lewis said. “I needed to kind of create my own path, and I went out and created the album based on … the strength that it took to walk away from different situations.”

The recent release of her new single, “I Am” proves Leona Lewis needn’t have worried.

She insists, however, that there is no bad blood between her and Cowell, who he signed after she won the British version of “The X-Factor” back in 2007.

“Simon has been so amazing and instrumental in my career, but it was just time for me to move on and time for me to do something different, and I wanted to seek out a different label that had kind of a different energy,” she said.

“Amazing” doesn’t begin to describe how incredible Leona Lewis and Taylor Swift sounded during their performance of “Bleeding Love” this weekend, however. Hopefully that was just a taste of what fans can expect from the singer in the months to come.
