  • LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian will have to find another outlet for their marital showcase.

The couple was shadowed by scandal early in their relationship and LeAnn Rimes was hoping that LeAnn & Eddie would give her a chance to shine up her image a bit.

In fact, in the first episode, LeAnn Rimes declared that the world would see that she is no “homewrecker”.

Well, the couple only had one season to change the world’s perception of what happened between the two of them.

When LeAnn Rimes began seeing Eddie Cibrian, she was still married to Dean Sheremet. Eddie, in turn, was still married to Brandi Glanville.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were hoping that an intimate look into their lives would normalize them and help people see them as more than just cheating spouses.

“This show gave us an opportunity to take back our lives in a way and show a different side of us than what people really believe,” LeAnn Rimes said when the series premiered back in July of last year.

“Look, if their minds are changed or opened or whatever, that’s wonderful. But if not, I don’t think we’re really set up to change anyone’s mind,” she insisted.

After the premier, LeAnn Rimes explained that the series was a way to “take our life back and have fun with our story and where we are now.”

Eddie Cibrian had a similar outlook of the project.

“Ultimately, we wanted to do a show and I think that this format and this genre, unscripted, gave us an opportunity to do something fun and work together,” he explained.
