LeAnn Rimes is joining a slew of female stars who are embracing their bodies on social media, and has been posting bikini pics to prove it.

The country star shared a photo of herself in a teeny bikini last week while she and husband Eddie Cibrian were on spring break, and later shared one in a thong that showed off her lean frame. When responding to a fan on Instagram, Rimes said that all women should be proud to show off their bodies.

“They don’t cover it all but (no pun intended) it doesn’t look good on women when you have too much material,” she wrote of the thong. “I hope to help all women embrace their bodies and be proud of their curves, stretch marks…. Whatever! (Stretch marks I have) To have a ‘bikini body’ you must put a bikini on your body!!”

Television personality Chrissy Teigan also talked up body positivity on Instagram this week, sharing a photo of her bruised legs that also captured her stretch marks. Teigan says the bruises came from her clumsiness in the kitchen.

“Bruises from bumping kitchen drawer handles for a week. Stretchies say hi!,” she wrote.

Teigen garnered over 100,000 likes on the image sharing site and drew positive remarks from fans such as, “Why didn’t someone show me this in middle school?”
