  • Leah Remini has opened her home to camera crews and is ready for all of us to see what goes on there in her new show, Leah Remini: It’s All Relative.

The show will feature her loud-mouthed family including husband Angelo, their nine year old daughter Sofia, her mother Vicki, her stepfather George, her sister Shannon and her sister’s husband, William.

As if that wasn’t enough, Leah Remini will also be showcasing “the help” including Sofia’s brash British nanny Trish, friend and security Lou, and Leah’s personal assistant Raffy.

    It sounds nuts.

“I’m so happy to be opening my home to TLC and to be sharing my family with you. We are blessed to be given this opportunity to work together as a family.” Leah Remini said in a statement. “However, beware — in these last 13 weeks of working on the show, my mother and stepfather already feel they are the true talent and breakouts of the show and expect to be offered sitcoms.”

Great, it will be crazy, but what people really want to know is, will they be talking Scientology?

It becomes clear pretty quickly that, yes, they will be opening that can.

In fact, the first two back-back premiere episodes will show a dinner party that Leah Remini and her husband threw for the friends that stuck by them through their desertion of the religion. How’s that for head-on confrontation of an issue?

It’s been a long time since Leah Remini’s departure from Scientology, but the issue is still fresh on the minds of her fans. Last year, she left the mysterious church after she was reprimanded for her insistence on knowing the whereabouts and condition of leader David Miscavige’s wife, Shelly Miscavige.

Right after the fiasco, she said, “My mother got involved when we were very young, so it’s all we really ever knew,” Leah Remini explained of her involvement with Scientology. “But over time, my eyes opened and I could no longer be affiliated with the organization.”

Will we learn more about Leah Remini’s confrontation with Scientology leaders in her new show? Only time will tell.
