Leah Messer of Teen Mom 2 fame may have won primary custody of her twins Ali and Aleeah in a recent court battle with ex-husband Corey Simms, but that doesn’t mean the worst is over for the young mother of three. She now has both of her ex-husbands–Simms and Jeremy Calvert, who is the father of her daughter Adalynn–scrutinizing her every move, which includes having routine drug tests.
Corey Simms didn’t like Leah Messer’s mode of parenting. He felt that his twin daughters needed to get to school on time, and that it was Leah’s duty as a responsible mom to see to it that they did just that. It was rare that the Teen Mom 2 star complied, however. That’s not the worst of her issues, though. Leah Messer has been in and out of rehab for substance abuse issues. That is the bigger concern for both of her ex-husbands.
In a clip before the airing of Thursday night’s episode of Teen Mom 2, all three of Leah Messer’s daughters had a big meltdown because they weren’t allowed to eat stale cookies. Between that issue and the drug test she had to take during the episode, it was plain to see that Leah was under a lot of stress.

Substance addiction doesn’t discriminate. It can affect wealthy people from highly moral homes and it can strike those who are down and out with nothing but the shirts on their backs. When it impacts people with children, however, it’s time for those nearest to those children to take action.

Many were likely quite surprised to learn that Leah Messer still has primary custody of her twins she shares with Corey Simms. Do you expect at some time in the near future that Leah Messer will fail said drug test and custody of all three of her daughters will revert to their respective fathers?
