  • Laura Prepon recently sparked wedding rumors when she was seen going in for a private fitting at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City on Tuesday, July 8.

Prepon was trying on a custom-made Isabelle Armstrong Haute Couture evening dress which made people think that she was getting prepared to walk down the aisle.

However, the rumors were short lived when Page Six revealed that the Orange is the New Black star was trying on the dress for an event that she will be hosting- the Bella New York City magazine’s All White Party in the Hamptons on July 26.

Prepon, who is probably best known for her role as Donna on That 70s Show, recently returned to the small screen to play the part of Alex Vause, a former badass drug dealer and the love interest of Piper Chapman, who is played by Laura’s co-star Taylor Schilling, in the Netflix original series Orange is the New Black.

Fans were largely disappointed when Prepon only appeared in a few episodes of season two, however she revealed, via Instagram, that the show had been renewed for a third season and she would be appearing in every episode. “It’s official!! Season 3!! #oitnb #alexvause #backtothebighouse,” Prepon captioned her photo.

“It sucked because [show creator] Jenji Kohan and I wanted me to be in it more, but with the schedule, it didn’t happen,” Prepon explained. “I was so bummed out. But I handled it, so I’m in every [episode] in season three. It is so good.”

Prepon also revealed that the show has been nominated for 12 Emmys. She shared the news with her fans, via Instagram, and captioned the photo by saying, “We’re goin to the EMMYS!! #12noms #oitnb.”
