Lamar Odom loved being married to Khloe Kardashian and he wants her back.

Of course the NBA player is legally still married to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from Lamar Odom back in December of 2013, but neither has returned to court to take the needed steps to make the divorce final.

“It’s no secret Lamar regrets a lot of things. He’d still love to be married to Khloé,” a friend of Lamar Odom’s said to People magazine. “And there’s a part of her that wishes it worked out, too.”

There has been lots of speculation about Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom getting back together, but most of it has been just that–speculation.

Khloe filed for divorce from Lamar when he had a relapse of his drug addiction and was rumored to have cheated on her more than once.

She has then spent a considerable amount of time with rapper French Montana. She claims she enjoys his company, but isn’t in love with him, however.

In a clip from a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian West gives Khloe Kardashian a hard time about not proceeding with her divorce from Lamar Odom.

“You’re like flirting with him and called off your whole divorce?” says Kardashian West, 34. “I just can’t take it.”

Luckily for Kim Kardashian, she doesn’t have to take it. That’s left in the hands of Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian alone. The two were very happy together for a good portion of their marriage, and starred together in the most lucrative spinoff of Keeping Up With the Kardashians ever–Khloe and Lamar.

Khloe Kardashian has recently struggled–although optimistically–with stepfather Bruce Jenner’s transition into Caitlyn Jenner. Both of her Kardashian sisters have husbands or significant others and children. Khloe is alone.
