Lamar Odom is set to be released from Cedars-Sinai Hospital and transferred to a rehab center, according to a report from People.

“The plan is for him to move in the next few days. At the center, Lamar will continue to receive amazing therapy. He still has many challenges but is making progress. He is a fighter!” says one of People’s sources.

Last October, Odom accidentally overdosed and was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He was in a coma for some time, and the prognosis was not good. Somehow, Odom fought through it and came out the other side. Lamar Odom has had estranged wife Khloe Kardashian by his side – but some recent rumors point to a shift in that.

Despite that, Khloe is firmly planted in Odom’s corner.

“He’s doing amazing, and I’m so proud of the strength that he has had to fight that battle,” she said this week at the Television Critics Association winter meeting.

“Christmas with my pops. Here’s to 2016. Blessed,” he captioned the photo, which also shows Odom’s daughter Destiny sticking her tongue out.

The photo has since been deleted.

Odom is clearly making progress, but he has a long road ahead. According to reports, Odom is still unable to walk on his own and has suffered speech problems.
