Lamar Odom was found unconscious at the Love Ranch–a legal brothel in Crystal, Nevada–on Tuesday and rushed to a local hospital. Dennis Hof, the brothel owner, says the former NBA player and ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian had been taking an herbal form of Viagra.

“We called 911, and the 911 told my staff what to do: turn him over on his left side,” Hof told NBC News. “There was this terrible foaming stuff coming out of him. He was throwing up, a little bit of blood.”

Nye County Sheriff Sharon Wehrly said Lamar Odom was first treated at the nearby Desert View Hospital in Pahrump before being taken by ambulance to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, about 60 miles away. Arrangements were made to fly Odom to the Las Vegas hospital, but he was too tall to fit in the helicopter.

Khloe Kardashian, along with mom Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian West, reportedly flew to Las Vegas so Khloe could be by Lamar Odom’s side. One report states Lamar Odom’s heart, lungs, and kidneys are failing and the prognosis is bleak.

A rep for Lamar Odom asks for privacy for Lamar Odom and those gathered to support him.

“Family and friends are extremely concerned for Lamar,” Eve Sarkisyan said in the statement. “Please don’t listen to the false information being circulated unofficially. Please respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time.”

Lamar Odom was raised by his grandmother following his mom’s death when he was just 12 years old. His father was an addict. Odom lost a baby boy to SIDS in 2006. He has two children–Destiny and Lamar, Jr., from a previous relationship.

Updates on Lamar Odom’s present state will no doubt be forthcoming. In the meantime it’s plain to see that prayers are being said for the former Lakers player and that he has loved ones by his side. Despite his marriage ending in divorce, Khloe Kardashian has admitted several times to still loving Lamar Odom.
