In news that surprised no one, TMZ reported that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are not ready to finalize their divorce just yet.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star married the NBA player in 2009 after dating for a month. She later filed for divorce on December 13, 2013. But Odom hasn’t responded to the petition so the two are technically still married.

The judge handling the case has said that the case will be dismissed if they don’t proceed with it.

And it appears that’s exactly what will happen as 30-year-old Khloe doesn’t seem to be keen in moving forward with the divorce.

Sources close to the two say that while the two are talking, they’re not ready to give reconciliation a go.

An insider says that 35-year-old Odom is not in a hurry to divorce or to reconcile with his estranged wife. The source added that Kim’s sister wants Odom to show some “grand gesture” before they could move to the next step but so far he’s not game on doing it, especially since he feels betrayed by Khloe.

Khloe, on the other hand, has “a big heart” and doesn’t want to inflict further damage to Odom by pushing through with the divorce. But the source admits that this is more than just mercy – Khloe actually still has feelings for her husband.

It’s a known fact that the reality star doesn’t believe in divorce and has admitted as much in an interview. But she has also said that “there are certain reasons why you have to end a marriage. I’m still going through my divorce and I wish I didn’t have to do that.”
