Lady Calls 911 Over Crappy Cheeseburger

It’s happened to just about all of us at some point; you go through the drive-thru at a fast-food joint where the employees are too busy talking to one another to make your food, or maybe they just can’t get your order right no matter how many times you tell them what you want. But no matter how infuriating it may be, most of us just get over it and move on.

One lady in Orange County, California, took it to a whole new level when she called 911 after the fast-food joint she stopped at kept giving her the wrong order.

“I ordered my food three times. They’re mopping the floor inside, and I understand they’re busy. They’re not even busy, okay, I’ve been the only car here. I’ve asked them four different times to make me a Western BBQ Burger. They keep giving me a hamburger with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and onions. I’m not leaving!” the caller says.

She then asks for an officer to come down and force the restaurant to make her burger the way she wants it, to which the operator incredulously says she refuses.

“That’s not a criminal issue,” the operator says. “We can’t go out there and make them make you a cheeseburger the way you want it.”

“Well that’s….that’s…you’re supposed to be here to protect me,” the caller says.

“What are we protecting you from? A wrong cheeseburger?”

Wrong cheeseburger indeed.
