Kristin Chenoweth, the perky blonde little ball of laughs that we all love, is now sporting a little more serious look. By serious, I mean seriously different!

Chenoweth exchanged her short blonde bob for an interesting ombre look with extensions to complete the dramatic makeover. The 46-year-old Glee star obtained her new look at Gemini 14 hair salon in New York City.

Kristin Chenoweth is no stranger to the drastic change. In fact, she was just growing out the pixie cut she got at the suggestion of Jennifer Lopez last November.

She said after that chop, “I think I’ve needed this for a long time. I was nervous about being so exposed. It is what it is. I am what I am. I encourage people to go for it. There is nothing wrong with having a change in life. And guess what: Hair grows back.”

For some that takes months or even years. However, if you can afford the magic of extensions, hair can grow back overnight. Some fans asked how she got her hair so long in such a quick period of time, and her reply was classically Chenoweth.

“I’m actually part chia.” She then added, “Hello I’m such a blonde. Oh wait. Not anymore!”
