  • Kristin Cavallari found fame on the MTV reality show Laguna Beach. She was known for being outspoken and fun but she recently opened up about her experience on the show and the famous love triangle between herself, Lauren Conrad and Stephen Collleti.

Cavallari said that the show made things strange between her and Colleti and the other cast members and that they were just going along with what MTV was telling them to do.

“We had no idea what we were doing,” Cavallari, said. “We were just going along with whatever MTV was telling us to do.”

She also said that she thinks the show made all of them act differently and do things they wouldn’t normally do.

“My boyfriend at the time [Coletti] would take Lauren Conrad to dinner and buy her flowers, which never would have happened if it weren’t for the show and MTV,” she added. “I felt very used and manipulated.”

She went on to say that the way she was portrayed in the show is not how she really is or was and that it bothered her to watch the show.

“Being 16, 17 in high school, not knowing really how to handle your emotions or even realizing what’s going on, I put up a wall. I put up a really tough exterior because I felt like they were really trying to take advantage of me,” she told E! News. “When I saw it air and saw the way that they represented me, I was really, really upset. I cried for hours and hours after I saw the first episode.”

Cavallari has changed a lot since her days on Laguna Beach and she is now focused on her family and her career.
