Kristen Bell is already in the holiday spirit and is putting her vocal cords to work.
If you will remember, last year Bell lent her voice to the hit animated film Frozen for the character Anna and the soundtracks “Do You Want to Build a Snowman,” “Love Is an Open Door,” and “For the First Time in Forever.”
This year, the Veronica Mars star has collaborated with Straight No Chaser on a silly, yet sweet, Christmas song called “Text Me Merry Christmas.”
Bell debuted the jingle on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Monday, Nov. 17.
The video that goes along with the song shows a cell phone screen with the lyrics popping up like text messages.
“This holiday you’ll be far away / And I’ll be all alone / So please remember this December / To fully charge your phone,” Bell sings. “And… Text me Merry Christmas / Let me know you care / Just a word or two of text from you / Will remind me you’re still there.”

“Text me Merry Christmas / Make my holiday complete / Though you’re far from me, say you’ll BRB / That’s a text I’ll never delete / Choose just the right emoji / One that makes me LOL / And if you text me something naughty / I promise I won’t tell,” Straight No Chaser sings.
