Kris Jenner comes from a family that lives for taking selfies. The entire Keeping Up With the Kardashians clan has long since mastered the art.

While attending the Global Compassion Summit at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California–an 80th birthday celebration for the Dalai Lama–Kris Jenner posed with Melanie Griffith and managed to sneak His Holiness into the selfie frame.

The ladies were excited to be in close proximity to the spiritual leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner.

Kris Jenner posted the selfie to her Instagram account.

“I think @melanie_griffith57 is a little excited to meet His Holiness The Dalai Lama… #turnaroundlookbehindyou #greatmorning #MelanieGriffith,” she captioned the photo.

That wasn’t the only photo Kris Jenner shared from the event. She took a great shot of the Dalai Lama solo.

“His Holiness The Dalai Lama…What an incredible honor to have sat with him this morning… #blessed #gratefulheart,” she captioned it.

And then in true Kris Jenner style, she got someone to snap a shot of her with Melanie Griffith–in all their stylish glory.

The Dalai Lama is the spiritual head of Tibetan Buddhism. Kris Jenner identifies as a Christian, but perhaps is dabbling in the peaceful notion of Buddhism on the side?

Regardless of her reasons for being at the celebration of the Dalai Lama’s 80th birthday (he turned 80 on July 6th), she managed to take a selfie.
