Kim Kardashian treated her fans to a makeup-free selfie on Instagram over the weekend, stripping down to bare skin to show us what she looks like when she wakes up in the morning.

The reality star received quite a mixed reaction on the image-sharing site, with some telling her to stick with makeup and others reassuring her that she’s beautiful no matter what.

While it’s not the first time the star has been caught on film with a bare face, it’s one of only a few because, as she told The Mirror, she thinks she looks weird without makeup on.

“I feel odd when I don’t wear makeup! I don’t recognize myself,” she said.

Kardashian also drew quite a few compliments last week when she posted a photo of herself wearing a corset for “waist training”, which pulled in her middle and made her hourglass figure even more prominent.
