Khloe Kardashian is recovering from a staph infection, and in addition to the pain she is experiencing, she is upset because she’s prohibited from visiting Lamar Odom in the hospital.

“Khloé is devastated that she can’t go to the hospital and visit Lamar,” a source close to the Keeping up with the Kardashians star tells People magazine. “That’s the thing that is bothering her most about the infection.”

Kardashian contracted the staph infection at the hospital where Lamar Odom is a patient. Because his immune system is already compromised due to the accidental overdose that nearly killed him, she must stay away until deemed free of the infection.

“It’s been an emotional and difficult few weeks for Khloé and now she’s sick,” the source says.

Khloe Kardashian is resting and taking antibiotics in order to get well. She is anxious to get back to the hospital to make sure Lamar stays on track with his recovery.

“Khloé has been amazing throughout Lamar’s recovery,” a second source says. “Without her support and love, he would have been very lonely. Khloé only deserves praise.”

Kris Jenner spoke with E! News about her daughter’s present condition.

“She’s been a little under the weather,” she explains. “She’s getting better day by day.”

Khloe Kardashian no doubt became run down from all the hours she was spending by Lamar’s bedside. Staph infections are prevalent in hospitals, and those who are run down are even more susceptible to them.

Hopefully someone is helping fill Khloe’s shoes until she is well enough to head back to the hospital. It would be a shame for Lamar to become discouraged without the encouragement he’s grown custom to with Khloe Kardashian by his side.
