Reality TV star Kendall Jenner is making a name for herself in modeling and slowly shedding her Keeping Up With The Kardashians persona to make way for a career on the runway. The 18-year-old model recently rocked New York Fashion Week, modeling for some of the biggest designers in the fashion world.
Kendall Jenner, who recently announced she would professionally use only her first name Kendall, made a big leap in her modeling career on Sunday, September 7 when she walked the catwalk for the Diane Von Furstenburg Spring/Summer 2015 show. She worked the runway along with the biggest names in the modeling industry, including legend Naomi Campbell and Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel. The opportunity also allowed Kendall to be part of a landmark show celebrating von Furstenburg’s 40 years of iconic fashion.
At the von Furstenburg show, Kendall rocked a black and white plaid mini dress with floral crocheted detail, which was part of a collection inspired by the beaches of St. Tropez in France. She wore dark eye makeup and her hair was left tousled.
On Monday, September 8, Kendall took part in two shows by important designers at New York Fashion Week. She first hit the catwalk of Tommy Hilfiger’s ‘70s-inspired psychedelic collection wearing two ensembles. The first was a star-printed two-piece bikini that was paired with star-printed boots and accented with star tattoos. Kendall then closed the Hilfiger show with a long, see-through navy dress with just briefs underneath.

Later that evening, she joined models such as Victoria’s Secret Angel Karlie Kloss for the catwalk of Donna Karan’s show, another important milestone at New York Fashion Week. Kendall was decked out in a stylish orange scoop neck top that was paired with a printed skirt. Her ensemble was cinched at the waist with a gray printed belt, which she wore with orange platform heels. The piece was part of Karan’s urbane collection, which was apparently inspired by the streets of New York and injected with bold colors, graphics and statement headpieces.
