Kelsey Annese is just one of three people dead in a suspected murder-suicide near the SUNY Geneseo Campus, located about 35 miles south of Rochester, New York.
Matthew Hutchinson, Colin Kingston, and Kelsey Annese were all found dead early on Sunday morning at a house just blocks from the college campus.

Geneseo Police spokesman Jeffrey Szczesniak issued a statement shortly after the bodies were found.
“We believe the perpetrator is one of the deceased,” he said.
Authorities responded to a 911 call around 6 a.m. on Sunday from a man who said his son told him he had just killed his girlfriend–Kelsey Annese–and planned to kill himself, too.
No firearms were found at the scene, but a a knife was recovered. Two of the three bodies were found in a bedroom. Kelsey Annese lived at the house where the alleged murder-suicide took place.

“We have experienced a terrible tragedy in Geneseo today involving members of our community,” she said. “The loss of Kelsey, Matthew and Colin has profoundly affected our campus community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of all involved.”
Kelsey Annese and Matthew Hutchinson were SUNY students. Colin Kingston was a former student, but not enrolled for the present semester. Kingston reportedly arrived at Kelsey Annese’s house on Sunday morning, very distraught. He went on a rampage when he discovered his former girlfriend with Hutchinson.
Jeffrey Szczesniak said he cannot recall another homicide in Geneseo in the 23 years he has been on the town’s police force.

Investigators are likely to announce more details in the case very soon.
The deaths of Kelsey Annese, 21, Matthew Hutchinson, 24, and Colin Kingston, 24, have rocked this small community–not to mention the families and close friends who are left devastated.
