Kelly Rowland’s a happy woman these days!
On May 9, the “Motivation” singer married her manager Tim Witherspoon in Costa Rica. Then, shortly after, she announced that they were expecting their first child.
Although she’s still floating on air, she took time to speak with US Weekly about the current happenings in her life.
Just yesterday she surprised fans by sharing a picture of her baby bump during Yoga.
The picture immediately became a fan favorite and now has more than 300,000 likes, collectively, on Facebook and Instagram.
However, during the recent interview with the publication, she shifted gears by opening up a bit about marriage and her career. The 33-year-old singer didn’t opt to share many details about her wedding, but she did give a quick synopsis of the “perfect” day.
“Perfect. That’s [all I’ll say.] Perfect. Perfect day,” Rowland gushed.
However, her happiness doesn’t interfere with business. The Grammy Award-winning singer has been busy in the studio working on new music. Her most recent song, “The Game,” was featured on Pepsi’s promotional Beats of the Beautiful Game album. The compilation project was released in celebration of the World Cup.

Rowland expressed that she was “exciting” to work on the project. “I’m very excited. I think the whole project is a really, really cool idea in marrying…music and visual and art all together,” she explained.
The “Kisses Down Low” singer went on to discuss her record for the project. She explained that the song reminded her of her first soccer game, as a child. “I remembered my first soccer game and how much crazy energy was in the stadium and I wanted that feeling to be on the track, so I remember recording the verse like two or three times to make sure it was right.”
She went on to state that she won’t be attending the World Cup this year. However, she’ll be “in front of a huge television hopefully with other people who are going absolutely nuts about the game.”
