There are many different ways to propose to someone you love. This new way shows how technology is ever-changing. Grammy winning singer, Kelly Rowland was proposed to by her manager and boyfriend, Tim Witherspoon.
Apparently, Witherspoon decided to pop the question to Rowland via Skype when the singer was performing over in Bulgaria.
Rowland will be a guest on the Queen Latifah Show later today to make it official. “He put a ring on it,” Rowland, 32, told Latifah, referencing her band-mate’s famous record “Single Ladies,” which they performed together at the Super Bowl earlier this year.
What was her reaction when Witherspoon asked her via Skype? “He asked me first on Skype,” she recalled, laughing, “and I was like, ‘We’re so far away from each other.’” An understandable reaction, so what made Rowland say yes? “He asked me, and it was just that simple to say yes. I was like, ‘I got my best friend to ride through life with,’” she said. “He really is my best friend.”
