Kelly Clarkson announced, via Twitter, that she was expecting her first child with her new hubby Brandon Blackstock, on November 19. “I’m pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :),” she tweeted.

Before tying the knot with Blackstock in October, Clarkson admitted that they wanted to have children. “Like soon! Brandon, he’s a great dad and we wanted to make sure it’s cool with [his kids], but they are really pumped about it,” she said. “We actually, probably, want two more, and he’s got two, so four total. [The oldest] will be in her teens, so that’s kind of like a live-in baby sitter.”

Blackstock already has two children from a previous marriage, and Clarkson says that is what made her want to have kids of her own. “We have two kids. And they’re so great,” she said. “I never wanted kids before, but now I want, like, five.”

Now, Clarkson has revealed the sex of the baby. Drumroll please…it’s a…GIRL!

Clarkson had predicted that she would be having a girl, shortly after announcing her pregnancy. “I’m totally gonna have a girl,” she said. “I’m manifesting it! And when I have a girl, you’re gonna be like, ‘That chick knew it!'”

Again, she made the announcement via Twitter. “We just found out we’re having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!” she tweeted the exciting news.
