Kelly Clarkson is the latest celebrity to take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and while doing so, she took the opportunity to show off her post-baby body.

On Thursday, August 21, while wearing a pair of black leggings and a purple t-shirt, the former American Idol winner joked that she had been nominated by tons of mean people to take on the icy challenge.

This was Kelly’s first appearance since giving birth to her daughter River Rose Blackstock in June.

Kelly posted the video of her challenge to her personal Facebook account. She can be seen standing by her husband Brandon Blackstock outside of their home with two trashcans filled with icy water.

“ALS Ice Bucket Challenge accepted!!! Calling out Brian and Val Pittman, Alyssa and Sean Watson, Ashley Arrison and Aben Eubanks, Joe and Christina West and Narvel Blackstock! Don’t forget to donate at www.alsa.org!” Kelly wrote alongside her video.

According to the alsa.org, the Ice Bucket Challenge has currently raised a total of $88.5 million, and the number is still growing. In the past week, donations have risen to nearly $9 million per day.

“We are simply awe-struck at the incredible generosity that has poured forth to help fight this disease,” Barbara Newhouse, the President and CEO of The ALS Association, said. “Words cannot express how grateful we are to the nearly two million people who have donated and even more than that who have likely taken the challenge. You have all made an incredible effort in the fight against this disease.”

“Every day, given this dramatic increase in funding, the scope of what’s possible when it comes to fighting this disease has changed and continues to change,” Newhouse added.
