Kelly Clarkson has been a busy mom since giving birth to daughter River Rose back in June. Now it seems the ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’ singer is dropping some significant hints about a new album in the works–her first in close to three years.
Clarkson and hubby Brandon Blackstock have shared lots of photos of their baby girl via social media, but until recently nothing on social media involved her work. That all changed on January 3rd, however.
That’s the day Kelly Clarkson used Twitter as her means of sharing some incredibly exciting news with her fans–the first in quite some time.

She posted a trio of tweets that are causing serious speculation.
People keep asking. My next album is pop. But I am always influenced by music I love, which is pop-rock/country/r&b/dance #whoknowswhatsnext

ET reports that Kelly Clarkson sang with Trisha Yearwood back in September. The clue regarding Dr. Dre seems to have everyone stumped, however.
In 2013, Kelly released a Christmas album called Wrapped in Red , as well as a greatest hits album.
Clarkson confirmed that the first single to drop from the new album is coming in January, so hopefully all of the Twitter hints she shared will make sense then.
Are you excited to know Kelly Clarkson will soon be making a new album again?
