Katherine Heigl recently shared an Instagram shot with her followers that featured her naked and in bed with several seemingly naked men. As one might expect, this has raised lots of questions about whether or not the former Grey’s Anatomy actress has crossed the line from TV to X-rated films. The answer, of course, is no. So why was she naked–and with all these guys?

Fox News reports that Heigl–who is said to be ‘difficult’ to work with–was just having a little fun on the set of her new show, State of Affairs. In fact, she explains the scenario quite clearly in the caption she included with the Instagram post.

“Nope I haven’t gone into the adult film business…just having a little fun w/ my amazingly supportive crew who shed their shirts in solidarity!! Love you all!! @carnojoe @tallmanmark,” she wrote.

Katherine Heigl’s departure from Grey’s Anatomy in 2010 made big news at the time. She segued into the film industry, starring in films including Knocked Up. It was while acting in films that she gained the reputation of being very difficult to work with.

State of Affairs is the first regular TV series role Heigl has had since starring in Grey’s Anatomy. It premieres on November 17th on NBC.

Will you be checking out Katherine Heigl in her new role? Do you think her Instagram photo–replete with the camaraderie of her crew–was posted to show how beloved the actress is by her new TV friends, and to help dispel the rumor that she’s hard to work with?
