Since the announcement broke that Prince William and his lovely bride Kate Middleton are expecting, everyone has been wondering when the little bundle of joy is due. As one of the most famous couples in the world, there’s no doubt that everything they do is under scrutiny, and a first child is, obviously, a big deal.

Clarence House announced via Twitter today that the royal couple will be bringing home their firstborn sometime in July:

The next obvious question is whether they’ll be having a boy or a girl, but it may be too early to tell. Until that announcement comes–if it ever does–we’ll have to make do with talking about what Kate will be wearing as her belly grows. Oh, and that controversial portrait that was revealed recently which makes her look much older than her 31 years.
