“I never like to say never” was 22-year-old supermodel Kate Upton’s response to the question of whether she would ever consider posing for Playboy. The question was asked during an interview with British GQ at an event for Gillette, where Upton was a brand ambassador.

“I never like to say never because there are circumstances that I could do pretty much anything if it inspires me and if I think that it’s cool at the time,” she shared. “But right now, at this point in my career, I’m not doing Playboy.”

She also shared her thoughts about what she looks for in a man, saying “confidence” is the key to attraction in her mind.

“I think, really, it’s all about confidence – it’s however a guy feels the most confident,” she said. “And anytime someone walks into a room who is just exuding confidence, I think whatever they’re doing is amazing.”

And do some men take grooming too far, sending the wrong messages to women?

“I think there is a fine line between grooming when you’re confident and you appreciate yourself, and grooming because you’re insecure,” Upton said. “I think some guys try to please what other people think they should look like, instead of knowing how they feel the best in themselves.”

Her personal meal preference when a man cooks her breakfast in bed?

“I always feel great after green juices and I always have eggs in the morning,” she said. “I think a little bit of everything is good in moderation. But if a guy was going to cook for me I would eat whatever he put in front of me!”

The supermodel also opened up to E! at a fan “meet and greet” event at the Express store in Times Square about how she balances a busy work schedule and time with her family.

“Well, you know, I always try and make time for my friends and family,” she dished. “It’s important to me. Actually, I’ve been trying to take more time off so I can be better at work and be more on my game.”
