Kat Von D, the Hollywood-based tattoo artist who has been a reality star for years, has had a rocky relationship with DJ Deadmau5. The couple began dating last year and Deadmau5 proposed to Kat over Twitter in December after they broke up and then reconnected in November. Now, it looks like Kat has called it quits for good and posted on her Twitter account that her fiance wasn’t faithful.

The couple seem to have made Twitter their official venting spot, as several times over the course of the relationship both of them posted updates about it. Over the past couple of days, Kat has announced the breakup, accused him of cheating, and moved on.

Deadmau5 also vented a bit on Twitter, but then released this statement on Facebook:

“Kat and I split in November and I moved back home to Toronto. During this time, while we were broken up, I did have relations with another woman. Following that, Kat and I reconciled and I acknowledged being intimate with another person while we were estranged. We did move past those issues and I proposed to Kat in mid-December. At the end of June, it was clear that the relationship was not working and we mutually ended the engagement.”

Kat has been linked to several musicians in the past and has also been engaged to Sandra Bullock’s ex, Jesse James.
