Although it’s been quite a turbulent year for R&B-Pop crooner Chris Brown, Christmas seemed to have turned out quite pleasant for him. He has his girlfriend Karrueche Tran to thank for that.

Since the troubled singer has been stuck in rehab due to anger issues for quite some time, Tran took the liberty of bringing Christmas to him just as she did for the Thanksgiving holiday.

According to Hollywood Life, the on-again, off-again couple has made commendable progress in the right direction with their quality time together during the holiday season. A source close to Tran spoke exclusively with the publication to share the details of the couple’s romantic Christmas date.

The source said Tran “brought him a bowl of gumbo, a few slices of pumpkin pie, and a six pack of 7-Up.” However, food wasn’t the  only gift Tran came bearing.

“She also bought him a bomb Rolex watch with their initials engraved underneath the face,” the source says. “She said he was really surprised and had the biggest smile on his face.” Even a glint of the intimate details were spilled, as the couple took moments to catch up on lost time.

“Karrueche said they didn’t talk too much. They were too busy kissing and listening to Christmas music,” the source adds. “They’ve been apart for way too long and it’s been awhile since they’ve been together, so they made up for lost time by kissing — a lot!” Maybe those details can be classified as ‘TMI,” but it’s apparent that the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer had an excellent holiday.

Tran also took a minute to share one of  the captured moments on Instagram.

“They made the best of the little time they had together,” the source explained. “He’s in a new place now,” the same source said, “and even though he was with Rihanna last year, he told Karrueche, ‘This is the one of the best Christmases — it’s just us, babe.’”
