Second-time mom Kandi Burruss is overjoyed now that her first child with husband Todd Tucker has arrived. Family members of the reality star, who were just as excited to be with baby Tucker, shared first photos of the newborn on Instagram, just hours after the successful delivery.

Tucker’s 19-year-old daughter Kaela shared her happiness over meeting her baby brother through an Instagram photo showing her carrying the little bundle of joy. “January 6^th” Kaela wrote with a heart icon, “Love you forever and ever.” She also posted a snapshot of her father holding the baby in his arms.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member looked happy and beautiful as she posed beside her long-time friend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle-Harris in another cute Instagram pic. The two were members of a ‘90s R&B group Xscape.

I was happy to see my sis @majorgirl today. I’m mad we didn’t get to do a pregnancy belly pic together. We should’ve thought of that before today! Lol!

Burruss and her husband welcomed their first baby together on Wednesday, at around 8:42 a.m. The RHOA star, who underwent C-Section, gave birth to a healthy 7 lbs. 6 oz baby boy.

“Todd and I have been waiting so long for his delivery and he is so very perfect,” Kandi Burruss told People.

Burruss has been vocal about their struggle to conceive, which prompted them to try in vitro fertilization in the hopes of getting pregnant despite knowing that the procedure would not guarantee success. She was, however, ecstatic upon finding out she was pregnant.

“…so when we found out that our procedure WAS successful you can’t imagine our joy! Our family could now be complete with the addition of our baby love,” Burruss shared in a July interview with Us Weekly.

Kandi Burruss also has a 13-year-old daughter named Riley from a previous relationship with Russell “Block” Spencer.

Burruss and Tucker met on the set of RHOA where Tucker works as a line producer. They got engaged in 2013 and married in a televised ceremony in 2014.
