Kaia Gerber is certainly following in her famous mom’s footsteps, and when you see her–along with mom Cindy Crawford and brother Presley inside the September issue of Vogue–you’ll see why.
There’s no question at all that Kaia Gerber is simply a younger version of Cindy Crawford–and she’s only 13 years old.
Cindy Crawford is incredibly proud of both her son and her daughter. She was eager to share word of their Vogue spread via social media, too.

“For Cindy Crawford and family an island getaway in central Ontario is dressed-down, off-the-radar bliss,” the article reads, transitioning into an exclusive look at tir private island retreat.
“There are days—not up here, thankfully—when I feel I need to deliver that Cindy Crawford thing,” she says in the interview. “But I’ve gained so much confidence with age. That’s something I never felt early on, even if my generation of models was paid to radiate it—the shoulder pads, glamazon, hair out to there, boobs up to here. It would have been nice to have all that confidence in my 20-year-old body.”
“The point here is to slow everything down. Life moves quickly, but it will wait,” Cindy Crawford adds.
Kaia Gerber has long wanted to be a model just like her mom. Starting small, she snagged a few modeling gigs, and it definitely didn’t take long before she signed with a big modeling agency. IMG Models quickly led the way to Kaia Gerber doing a spread for Italian Vogue.
Presley and Kaia Gerber no doubt make Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber very proud, but there’s something to be said for very special mother-daughter relationships–especially when that daughter follows in her mom’s footsteps.
