Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are reportedly ‘ecstatic’ new parents.
Jessica Biel, 33, gave birth to a baby boy, Silas Randall Timberlake, according to a rep for the actress on Saturday, who added that the new parents are ‘ecstatic’ to welcome their bouncing baby boy.
Sounds like the couple are keeping the name in the family.
According to People magazine, Silas was the middle name of Timberlake’s maternal grandfather Bill Bomar, who died in 2012. Randall happens to be Timberlake’s father’s first name, as well as his own middle name.
Silas is the first baby for 33-year-old Jessica Biel and 34-year-old Justin Timberlake, who officially confirmed the couple were expecting a baby back in late January on his birthday with an adorable baby bump pic of Biel, with the caption, “Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT. ”
Seems like the tight-lipped couple do enjoy sharing their love and news on birthday occasions. Just weeks before she gave birth, Justin Timberlake took to Instagram once again to wish his lady love a happy birthday.
“Happy Bday to the sweetest, most GORGEOUS, goofiest, most BAD-ASS chick I know. You make me smile ’til it hurts. I love you like crazy,” he wrote.”
Justin Timberlake’s mother, Lynn Harless, posted her own happy tweet announcing the family’s joy at the arrival of Silas, although it was later deleted.
