  • Pop singer Justin Bieber was pulled over for drag racing in Miami Beach at around 4:00 Thursday morning and arrested for DUI. As of 8 AM the As Long As You Love Me singer is still in police custody as officers await the results of a blood test to determine his blood alcohol level. He hasn’t yet been booked into jail.

Bieber was stopped for drag racing in his rented Lamborghini when officers believed he’d been drinking. A young model was in the car with him at the time of his arrest. This definitely won’t sit well with Selena Gomez. The Come & Get It singer has been linked again to the pop singer following a lengthy break up, but isn’t one to tolerate illegal behavior.

Justin Bieber’s arrest immediately follows a controversy in his California neighborhood where police are seeking footage to determine if the singer was involved in recent vandalism there involving throwing eggs at a neighbor’s home. The incident cost his neighbor thousands of dollars in property damage. There is also suspicion of drug possession related to that case.

It’s long been clear that Justin is headed in a frighteningly bad direction. Hanging around with the likes of Lil Za and Lil Twist hasn’t helped his behavior either. Lil Za still lives in his home and that has also been a major point of contention between Bieber and Selena Gomez.

Hopefully with Justin Bieber’s DUI and drag racing arrest (Justin is also under age, so this makes the offense even more serious) someone–his mom, his manager Scooter Braun or his father–will file for a conservatorship over the young singer and help him take charge of his life. If that doesn’t happen–and soon, too–Justin’s future looks bleak.
