The famous son of crooner Julio Iglesias married his longtime sweetheart in Madrid over the weekend, disappointing female fans everywhere.

Iglesias and Belgian model Charisse Verhaert were engaged for seven years before taking their vows and celebrated the night before the big day by partying at a club. The famous family came together for the event, reuniting Julio’s mother–socialite Isabel Preysler–and father, who divorced in 1979. Brother Enrique couldn’t make it, however, as he is currently on a world tour.

Iglesias, Jr. has worked for the Travel Channel and won CMT’s “Gone Country” competition in 2008 for a recording contract. He also models and is the spokesman for several brands.
