After you’ve gone to the midnight showing of Catching Fire (because we all know you are) this Thursday, you don’t have to keep spending money on tickets to get your Josh Hutcherson fix. (You can if you want to though, I won’t judge.) You can get a fix in the privacy of your own home, just be sure to set your DVR for this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live. Or you know, watch NBC on your TV from 11:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

If the promos in the video above are what we have to look forward to, then many Hutcherson fans will have an enjoyable evening. Who knows, he may even sway some people to team Peeta with this turn at comedy.

In the promos, the Hutch joins SNL cast member Bobby Moynihan (and my current personal favorite). The promos feature Moynihan punching Hutcherson in the face, an old, partially eaten hot dog, and of course some Hunger Game references – CGI flames anyone?

Hutcherson’s comedic side shines through in the promos. My personal favorite is when Moynihan punches Hutcherson. Not because Hutcherson gets punched, calm down guys, I’m team Peeta.

In the clip Moynihan says, “Josh, we are so excited to have you here. And I think you’re like the youngest host we’ve had in a while. What are you like 25?”

“No,” replies Hutcherson.

“23?”

“No, I’m 21.”

A shocked Moynihan says, “”What the?!” and then punches Hutcherson in the face.

Then Moynihan says, “Look, I’m sorry. It just had to be done.”

“No, it’s all right. My jaw can handle it.” Which provokes Moynihan to punch him in the face again.

I’m sure the show will feature a Hunger Games skit. Maybe they’ll showcase Peeta’s artistic side in a humorous way? Or maybe they’ll even have Hutcherson dress up as Katniss. Guess we’ll just have to watch this Saturday to find out.

Fans are very excited Hutcherson is hosting SNL this weekend.

And some fans just want to get the word out about the hosting gig.

May the odds be ever in your favor this weekend Hutch.

Catching Fire hits theaters this Friday, and Hutcherson can be seen hosting Saturday Night Live this Saturday, November 23 at 11:00 p.m. on NBC with musical guest HAIM.
