If you’re a Hollywood celebrity, it’s pretty tricky to keep a relationship a secret these days, but apparently not for Jonah Hill, since he’s been dating actress Isabelle McNally for months, according to Us Weekly.
In actuality, the relationship wasn’t a total secret, because the paparazzi captured a couple of photos of the the two while they were out and about, but for some reason the story of their relationship never caught on and never received the same kind of attention that many Hollywood couples get.
For those who don’t know a lot about McNally, it’s for good reason, because she’s only been active in Hollywood for about five years. According to IMDb, her first movie was a short entitled “Runaround” in 2009, which is a coming of age story about a group of American teenagers.
She also played Kim in the 2012 movie “Not Waving But Drowning,” a tale about two best friends who move apart and encounter all kinds of adventures on their own. But 2014 might be McNally’s breakout year, as she has three movies coming out, “The Long Goodnight, an Ari Gold directed film that’s yet to be titled, and “The Money” starring actor Ray Liotta.
Of course Hill became popular after playing an eBay customer in the film “The 40 Year Old Virgin” in 2005, and since then he’s been known for playing a string of wacky characters in films like “Knocked Up,” “Superbad,” and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.” And recently, he’s made the leap from comedic to dramatic actor in films like “Moneyball” and “True Story,” which is supposed to be out later this year.
It’ll be interesting to see if Hill and McNally’s relationship get the usual Hollywood treatment from the paparazzi, as well as others who are bound to ask them about their personal lives. Plus, their union could push McNally into another level of celebrity, which she may or may not want. But time will tell.
