John Mayer may seem like a serial heartbreaker from all the headlines bearing his name in recent years, but it seems like he might be settling down with Katy Perry now that the two have reconciled.
The couple are having some serious dates, including showing up to watch President Obama's inauguration on Monday and attending the Inaugural Concert over the weekend, where Perry performed.
"They are seriously in love and exclusive," a "source" told Us Weekly.
Mayer, who has formerly romanced fellow musicians Jessica Simpson and Taylor Swift, has at least one song written about him and his scandalous ways. Swift, who infamously documents her love life in her music, allegedly wrote "Dear John" about their relationship. Mayer has said he was hurt by the song, but Swift rolls her eyes at that.
“I take these songs and these people who inspire these songs on a case-by-case basis,” she told The Daily Beast. “If there were someone who was a good person, I’m not going to write something bad about them. But if they handle a situation in a way that really messed up my life for a while, that’s what I’m going to write about.”
Perry was most recently linked to comedian Russell Brand, but the couple went through a painful divorce in 2011.
