Jimmy Fallon and house band The Roots have teamed up with several musicians and celebrities over the years to perform song covers with unconventional instruments–staplers, pencils, and coffee pots, to name a few–and now they’ve taken it a step further to work with some of the “Sesame Street” cast and a bunch of classroom instruments.
As the show moves into its 44th year of teaching children everything from the alphabet to how to deal with divorce, Jimmy and crew celebrate with Big Bird, Elmo and friends by recreating their theme song. Check it out.
